Indifferent Confusion

Indifferent Confusion

Hard to ignore,
when I'm down on the floor.
Look the other way,
what's another day?

Brush past the ghosts,
bodies devoid of their hosts.
Shells lay forgotten,
doubt all they've done.

Fighting the current,
rinsed clean in the torrent.
Try as I might,
but I've lost the light.

Take it away,
fall down and lay.
Watch it run clear,
losing my fear.

Dance in the dark,
make another mark.
Move a little more,
crash through my core.

Words crowd the thought,
and maybe it was caught.
Fade away into bliss,
no one to miss.
